Blanche Migel passed away on July 23, 2026. She lived most of her life in Chicago and its suburbs, later finishing her working years in Tennessee before enjoying retirement in South Carolina. She built her career and made her professional mark in the auto industry as a controller and office manager. Blanche made her life's mark with her family: married to Ron for 53 years with their daughters, grandchildren, and all their loved ones filling their circle.

Blanche is survived by her husband, Ron; daughters Christine (Kane) Meland and April (Pooley) Migel; grandchildren Kayla (Alex) Nambo and Nathan (Kirstin Cruise) Meland and Joey Bruno; siblings Kathy Joseph and Arne (Marie) Olsen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings Einar Olsen, Geri Zimmerman, and Gail Jasionowski.

A memorial service will be held on September 20 at 2:00 PM at Cardinal Funeral Home, Crystal Lake, IL, with a prayer service to follow at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America, or specifically to their Frontotemporal Dementia program.
