Gail Maves

Gail Maves, 79, of McHenry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family March 15, 2026. Born January 6, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Raymond and Betty Singer. Beloved mother of Melanie (Bob) Schmidt, Jimmy Maves, Shellie Maves, Nicky Witz, Richard Witz and Cory (Katie) Witz; loving grandmother of Eric (Mandy), Monica, Chris (Erika), Haley, Tori (Jordan), Sean, Nathan, Nick (Noah), Kelly, Amelia, Aria, Dale and Jerry; carrying great grandmother of Carter, Shelby, Lillian, Michael, Caleb, Kohl, Noah, Dax, Dominic and Fenrir; aunt of Lynnet (Alex) Arce and Brandon (Kerry) Singer; great aunt of Ty Singer and Reagan Taylor. 

Gail is preceded  in death by her parents and brother Raymond Jr. 

Gail loved her crafts and playing cards with the family. She enjoyed watching for the deer that would come through the yard and she loved her cats. Above all else she cherished the time with her children and grandchildren. Gail was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
