Herb Larson

Herb Larson of Woodstock passed away peacefully May 26, 2026. Born June 18, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Carl and Florence Larson. Beloved husband of Sandra Larson; loving father of Sherri (Josh) Farmer, Susan (David) Bogawski, Kerrie (Jeff) Thomsen and Herb Larson; caring grandfather of Tiffany (Brandon) Wiegartz, Kadi (Landon) Davis, Parker Thomsen, Alaina (Xavier) Ramey, Trey Andrews and Danny Andrews; great grandfather of Austin Thomas, Blake Wiegartz, Caiden Wiegartz, Nathalie Davis, Otto Davis and Rigby Davis.

Herb was loved by anyone who ever met him, pets included. He truly loved his wife, kids and many grandchildren. He was one of the most lovable guys and had a great big, dimply smile. He had a heart of gold and a sarcasm like no other, everyone remembers him in any car (and he certainly loved cars) with his Lifesavers and twizzlers. Herb loved to listen to his 50s music. God granted him his wish that he didn’t have to go to a nursing home or hospital. He went straight to heaven, no more pain or discomfort.
