Maria Dimopoulos

Maria Dimopoulos of Elgin Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family September 1, 2025. Born October 12, 1964 in Greece to her loving parents Christos and Eleutheria Kantas. Beloved mother of Sofia Dimopoulos of Elgin. 

Maria was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Please join us in remembering Maria’s life and legacy Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10 AM for a time of visitation at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church 525 Church Road, Elgin IL 60123. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM.  Internment will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park.  Donations may be made in honor of Maria to Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.
