Roberto Elizarraraz

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roberto Elizarraraz, who left this world on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 59.

Born on July 9, 1966, in El Venado, Michoacán, Mexico, Roberto was one of eleven children. He emigrated to the United States in the 1980s and became a lifelong resident of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Roberto was preceded in death by his wife, Maria, and his beloved daughter, Brisa. He is survived by his mother, Rosalva Chávez Reyes, his brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished and enjoyed spending time with.

Those who knew Roberto will remember his humor, his caring nature, and his unmistakable sarcasm that could brighten any room. He loved to joke around, share laughter, and show kindness to everyone he met.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cardinal Funeral Home. Roberto will be cremated following the service.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, laughter, and warmth he brought into the lives of all who knew him.

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Roberto Elizarraraz, quien partió de este mundo el sábado 1 de noviembre de 2025, a la edad de 59 años.

Nació el 9 de julio de 1966 en El Venado, Michoacán, México. Fue uno de once hermanos. Emigró a los Estados Unidos en la década de los 80 y se estableció de por vida en Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Le precedieron en muerte su esposa María y su amada hija Brisa. Le sobreviven su madre, Rosalva Chávez Reyes, sus hermanos y hermanas, así como muchos sobrinos y sobrinas a quienes quiso profundamente y con quienes disfrutaba pasar tiempo.

Quienes conocieron a Roberto siempre recordarán su sentido del humor, su carácter amable y su sarcasmo inconfundible que llenaba de alegría cualquier lugar. Le encantaba bromear, reír y mostrar amabilidad a todos los que se cruzaban en su camino.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 8 de noviembre de 2025, de 12:00 PM a 3:00 PM, en Cardinal Funeral Home. Posteriormente será cremado.

Roberto será profundamente extrañado y siempre recordado por el amor, las risas y la calidez que trajo a la vida de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
